Sure neoprene socks I use them all the time in my Asic's but I have to go one size larger on the shoe.

I ordered a pair from the surf station here in town, before the last Daytona freeride. Still have not come in. .lol.

Luckily JJ from the Tampa crew hooked me up with a pair.
The cold is not far off.

Surf Station was 30 bucks. Overtons 10 bucks......sometimes you get what you pay for.

good to hear.
I'll report back after using them, but I figure 2mm of neoprene is 2mm of neoprene...right?

There were some sizing issues in the comments. I'll report on that as well.

P.S. The site gives less info than the catalog that arrives at my house each year. THe catalog had either 2 or 3mm. I have no Idea what will arrive. There was no thickness selection on the site. (I've never purchased anything from them, but the catalog keeps coming)

C'mon Chris, the water at Daytona was 52 last year. I went out with only wrestling shoes and I couldn't feel my feet in 5 minutes!
Thank God for JJ!
I used to live in San Diego.....but that's not like the pacnw!
BTW: MattE is a siborg or something...lol.

I have been wanting to get a pair of these as well, NOT for keeping my feet warm but to minimize the uncomfortable feeling of sand.....Damn it! it sucks to ride with sand in your shoes.
Thanks for posting!

I wear them year round. Along with the added warmth, they also help me not get rubbed up so bad from the turf in my footholds, since I wear low cut Slippery boots. Got mine off ebay from some guy in NY for $10.00 They are good for about 2 years.

I've been wearing those for years. I wear them year round also. Like mentioned, they keep your feet warm and protect against rubbing your skin off. I wear the 2 mil type that you can pick up at any good surf shop.
