Anyone install Trinitys Footholds with 25mm pad? I'm curious how much room(height) is in the holds or if it would require running a thinner foam or sanding down.

I have a new set not installed . I would say for my size 9 you could go 1 inch on bottom and 8 mill on top . I do think that would be tight estimate. If I install them i think I'll split the difference. 1/2 top and bottom. I'm working on an xft / RRP style of foot hold . Basicly trying to adapt an xft hold to an adjustable RRP bracket . Wish me luck .

I did 8mil on bottom and 25mil on top. The top was more like 1.5 layers the way it overlapped. Super comfy. you might get away with 25 top and bottom. It would be snug, but probably work out ok.

sweet, thanks for the replys guys.

so if you had to choose, pad on the top or bottom? never though about having pad on the top before?

I really like the extra padding on top. You kick in and you are there. On the bottom your body weight compresses it slightly and it can get not quite as tight as it was when you started. Not a big deal for most. I also don't do 30ft hero backflips either so maybe you should factor that into your decision.....

I have to order more 25mm pad for mine and was going to get some thinner stuff for the top. Do you really think you can get 25mm top and bottom? I wear a size 9 shoe.

I spoke with bobby, he recomends 25mm on top and 8mm on bottom, and with GDFL's comment it makes since. I'll be adding 25 top and bottom and sanding the bottom down untill its feels good. Thanks for the feedback.
