I want to talk to Paul about my SJ issues. I have a number but its been a while so I don't know if the voicemail I got (and left a message on) the other day was really his.

If you don't want to put the # on this thread just PM me please.

Thanks in advance. :veryhappy:

Paul is the man! I have a 8mm DASA and his port work is crazy clean!! The cylinder/sleeves look they were made all at once. I would say it is 100% perfect porting.

he is for sure still around...I just got a bunch of stuff from him...

That must be nice:-(

Well...yes and no....I mean I like doing biz with Paul but I hate rebuilding motor$.

Ahhh...just caught frown face! Yes sad!

I hope he does not mind but I don't see why he would...still involved in the sport and still building motors...I heard he may even build a new ski!!

404-405-0208 is the last number I had....

Mine were far from that..
It took many times calling to get my stuff back from him... like 6 months. He kept blowing it off as it was winter and I thought that would give ample time to get it done and done right. When I started calling around March/April and really needing it, he did a rush job and it was terrible porting(cylinder and cases).

I know he can do good work when he wants too. My case porting was very bad. I had seen his case porting before on a friends 62T cases and mine were nothing like that. The "finger" type holes were small, shallow and un-semetrical. It was a botch job. Also, I had paid extra $50 for Wiseco's and I received Pro-X pistons.

I ended up re working the cases and copying my friends ported cases(that Paul did) and made mine the same as his(as it should of been). Now i have my own set of ported cases that I copy every time I do a motor and they kick ass.. I epoxy, port, and case match all my own stuff now. I think it was a blessing in disguise as it made me go buy some porting bits/tools and learn how to do it all myself.

Ive always like Paul and he is a good guy and has even been to my house and bought a ski from me once, but that rush porting job kind of turned me off...

Sorry if i burst anyones bubble!

Never had an experience like that...even once. My port work has been flawless and his free time and pro-Bono expertise has been invaluable.
