Anyone got pics of their MSD TL setups/mounting?

Hey all,

Anyone have pics of their MSD TL setups/mounting? Hope to start making mountings soon and wasn't sure the best way. I have seen some documentation saying coils must be 6" from the brain, other says 12" but I am sure I have seen people with them a lot closer.

Any input and pics would be appreciated.

I just got an MSD TL as well and need to mount it for surf, so if anyone has pictures and part numbers for their boxes and required fittings, I'd appreciate that as well.

I dont ride surf that often , plus the OP didnt ask for surf ready TL pics , just mounting setups. I am just trying to help

not MSD but we have 3 ATP total loss set ups - one been like this for 3+ yrs in this box, both salt and fresh water and hasnt missed a beat

Where does one get a box like that. The grommets look like the standard self-sealing electric grommets.

ill assure you mine isnt that neat and will run in salt water. probally only ride once or twice a year in salt at most. heat shrinking all your connections will a little dilecric grease and your good to go.

That last one looks pretty similar to what I was planning. I made a mounting plate already just wasn't sure if that was the best way to do it. Thanks for all the pics.
