I mailed a check for a subwoofer via usps 2-3 day priority about ten years ago.

It showed up 29 days later. :bs2:

USPS sucks.

WAB's a good seller

Someone shipped me an intake grate 3 weeks ago via USPS and it still hasn't shown up yet :frown: Other than this I've never had anything get lost, ever.

Dam! What an asshole!

really nothing to see here people, move along.....

j/k --- I sent you a long email about it before logging on here and seeing this. D'oh!
The PO's system said it sould take 2-3 days for both Priority Mail and Parcel Post. Being the cheapo I am it is coming Parcel Post. It is the holidays so hopefully it is still in route and not in a postal black hole. It should be there by now though. I think I kept the reciept, but there's no tracking or delivery comf. I've been lucky enough to never really have problems with them losing stuff.

Thanks for the kind posts. I would never knowingly screw somebody.

With Parcel Post... the bigger the package the longer it takes. Sometimes if you're not there when they try to deliver it, it gets held at the Post Office. Been there, done that, they should get tracking numbers.

andy did get back to me... when it was mentioned parcel... i knew it would take longer... no big... and i hope you didnt take my original post as a slam or anything negative because it wasnt meant to be... thanks again!

Let me tell you recent story about Parcel Post. I sent my parents a photo coffee cup from the Jersey Rager photos. I sent it November 2nd from Virginia Beach to New Hampshire. The difference in cost between Priority and PP was a dime. The clerk said it would make it to NH on the following Monday either way so I chose the lesser cost. They never received the cup after more than 30 days so I decided to order another one and have it drop shipped directly to them. Two days later, they thank me for the cup. I know it takes a couple weeks from the time you place the order to the time it is received so I ask them to confirm where the cup came from. It was the one I has sent 5 weeks prior. They'll enjoy having two cups.
Lesson learned: As posted earlier, you have no tracking with Parcel Post. You are at the mercy of the Post Office with no recourse if it is lost. Parcel Post is just not worth it even for short distances. Five weeks from the Mid-Atlantic to New England. Please never ship anything to me PP, I'll gladly pay the extra for traceable shipping.

I'd rather see this than a negative on eBay!
No hard feelings at all, and again sorry for not getting back to you with the hotmail email. I check my PM's here more than the hotmail account.
Hope it gets there soon though! It's not in a big box, just a little bigger than the head. Maybe they thought it was a book. Ever sent something media mail rate? THAT takes forever!

I assume this is the Westcoast head that Andy was selling? If so, I have a couple extra sets of domes for that type head that I need to sell. There is a pair of 27cc and a pair of 23cc and one 30cc. if nothing else, you could have a set re-cut to the compression you need.

jpilot98, let me know if you are interested. these domes are getting harder and harder to find... $35 + shipping for all. (and I'll ship UPS...LOL!)
