Chic, is the bracket you have for an FX???? I need the one that has the little mouting doodad for the hood..

Ooooppps---may have spoken too soon. It was on your red boat when I first bought it. I don't think it has a "little mounting doodad" but I'm positive the St. Augstine crew could do some evening engineering to make something work.

Ok, Idok, please forward the original e-mail with full headers to me or Doc Wok at Blowsion. It's not a Blowsion employee, and everyone should know that it's simple as can be to change your "from" address in any e-mail program.

If you need help getting the full header info, it's normally "view message source" or view headers or something like that.

Anyway, it's not from Blowsion according to Mark Doc Wok.

The way I see it, even after some helicoiling and mild rigging, I think you still came out ahead.

The part is $230 new. Even if it didn't work at all, I'd say it was a reasonable gamble on your part.

Hit them with an eMail and tell them the part is imperfect way beyond the item description and see their reaction.

Leave neutral feedback stating that you were saddened about the unuseable condition in which your purchased item arrived. Don't be a dick as you'll lose the credibility of your rating. Bust out the negative if you have to.

Ok guys....I finally did receive an email from the seller with an apology and a full refund from the part..

all has been explained and resolved.....

no hard feelings to Blowsion or the crew from my part........

Jett, lock her up man.....no need to go further

That's fine, but you brought Blowsion into this, were they involved or not? This doesn't clear things up for me.

ok.....here's the meat of an email I just received this morning from the seller:

"Scott
I received a call today from John (The Owner of Blowsion) He said he was contacted today by some individual that was on the website that you posted on regarding our transaction about the handlepole bracket, and that you assumed it came from him because the link came from his UPS account. Let make this quite clear that the transaction we completed has nothing to do with John or Blowsion. John is a very good friend of mine and allows me to log into his UPS account to send items because it save me about $2.00 every time I send an item, he does this as a favor to me. "

Like I said before, I hold no hard feelins against Blowsion, nor the seller.........I did send 3 different emails regarding the condition of the bracket....waited approx 48 hours then received a reply from info@blowsion.com

this is the point I started thinking WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?

I never even really figured from day 1 that B.com is where the part came from, but I was baffled at the return shipping address, and THEN the response I got via email regardinig the tracking #..

this is the point at which I came looking for advice from my fellow riders to see if anyone knew who "coolitems" was...

Believe me, it is/nor was my intention to drag a company of whom I fully support (and order from on a regular basis) thru the mud.....and its not like I just picked a name out of a hat to try and blame this on...

You didn't read his post, the guy is a friend of Johnny@Blowsion, who allows him to use their shipping account so that's why the e-mail came from info@blowsion.com, but the shipping account is the only connection.

Thanks for posting the story, I was just really confused because you didn't explain what happened.
