anyone buy from "coolitems" off ebay?

Im a little pi$$ed about this one....

now, i saw the chip in the pics.........but when I got the bracket, there's threads stripped out, not to mention half of the bolt "canal" is missing as well....

1 of the other bolt holes needs a helicoil, and as for the one with the chip there doesnt even really look like enough room for one...


does this count as "cosmetic damage?"





what REALLY got me steamed was that I emailed the seller and got a reply from ********.com

yeah, i saw a few names I knew from the board under the feedback section...

95% + isnt all that great, but I THOUGHT the pic and description looked to be reasonable and accurate..right down to the oem zinc paint..

They really should have mentioned the stripped threads I would think. That's a bigger deal than the a little chip on the corner.

Looks like at least one or maybe 2 of their negatives were left by mistake. You have to be pretty 'special' to leave a negative by mistake, but anyway...

It says they are in Seattle, who is it?
Did you get any response from the seller about the stripped threads? You can do a 'contact info search' on ebay to get the seller's phone #.

the return address of the package was the same as on the Blowsion catalog..

the email I got reguarding the tracker after 7-8 days was from info@blowsion.com..






thats why im so confused about it!!!

I know it's a crazy idea, but you could just call Blowsion and ask before you get too pissed about it. :kabong:

if blowsion had nothing to do with it, you have some options through ebay and paypal (if you used it).

I`m sure there is some misunderstanding somewhere along the line. Contact Blowsion I`m sure you will find out it`s not them. Talk to Johnny, either it was an honest mistake or someone is using there info.

I would call them quick before this goes any futher and a great company`s name gets draged through the mud....

thats what I was thinking.....ive made plenty of transactions with blowsion......99% have been perfect, the other 1% were rectified asap to make them perfect......and in no way to I want to diss on Johnny for something thats not his fault....



Chic, is the bracket you have for an FX???? I need the one that has the little mouting doodad for the hood..
