any reports back on the Blowsion Tornado?

i bought a pair but by the time they made it to new orleans, they were called hurricanes so not sure if the performance is the same.

Chris Rosner and I did some durability testing with them. At the same time I made a dome change on my boat, so I can't speak to the power increases. But they held up great.

Chris told me he felt like his boat made more power with them. He also really durability tested them when he broke a few motor mounts coming up short on a flip.

I like em...

If they hold up better than the ProK's then I'm sure they will be great. On a different note, I just picked up the wammer carbon air box and I'm digging it. Minimal water ingestion, and I was taking it way under with a STOCK hood missing the drop down tubes.. When I put my new Tom21 hood on I don't expect to have any water ingestion issues.

Finally got to ride with them Sunday and I could Feel a difference in throttle response and a little power. Subbed all day long with the stock hood and didn't have any problems. I like them.

Still Fat....
i got em on her ski now
definately looks like a prok and tau ceti mated lol

i will say they feel very strong compared to the Tau and Proks
i also have the outwears on them too
they are heavier then the proks, but you can feel the stronger construction of them

I was looking at these for part of my winter mod list. Are a/m flame arresters actually beneficial on a basically stock engine that will be getting a b pipe installed?

Don't bother adding aftermarket flame arrestors with stock carbs. You will have to buy adapters and the flame arrestors. IMHO you will accomplish nothing other than some extra water entering your motor and $100+ less in your account. You engine will look a little cooler though. When you run aftermarket carbs with the air bells, you don't really have a choice but to go aftermarket with FA's.

I would also leave the stock choke intact until you upgrade from the 38mm carbs. I have added primer kits on two skis and both times I could never get the carbs tuned well afterwards. I have also heard this from others

Not sure how you can have a power increase with these.

Whats the difference between these and the Fly brand with the inner cone venturl or the Jetinetics with the adjustabe cone? What makes them better?

"feature a unique design water-deflection cone shape" , lol, its just shaped exactly like a K&N cone...lol What a bunch of BS hype to get peeps to buy them.

I'm sure they are nice though and work well, but this is not the BBD.

If you like the Blowsion Tornado, you might like the Tornado fuel saver for your car also:

Thanks, I won't add them then. Not really looking at changing the stock carbs. I'm really just learning all the in's and out's of these engines so this is good info.
