Surfriding Any Guys Ride In Los Angeles? Here Visiting, Would Like To See Some Surf Riding..

I feel like I always hear of guys riding in CA one place or another... But all I see is people walking around barefoot with surfboards... I'm here for the next few days and would love to watch some surf riders of they're around... Anyone know of any good spots? I'm in Hermosa Beach, but have checked Huntington Beach, and around here, found nothing so far.
If you're here and riding; let me know! I have my DSLR, and a decent lens, I'll gladly snap some photos and send them your way as well.

I don't know of any surf riding spots in the Los Angeles area. Your best bet is either Oceanside which is about 80 miles to the South, or Ventura which is about 80 miles to the North. Unfortunately even if you go to either Oceanside or Ventura, you can't really get to the area where every one rides by walking down the beach, both places are a 2-3 mile ride on a ski to get to the surf riding area. The only place you can really go where you can drive up to the beach and watch everyone surf ride is Pismo which is about 180 miles to the North.

also pismo beach to the north, there are always guys there early morning on the weekends and a lot of stuff to see on the beach

Hey, thanks for the info guys... I wish I had some time and a rental car.. Would've loved to have seen some action.. Shipping out tomorrow.. I'm hoping my volleyball injury will clear up so I can ride this weekend back home in NY...
