Not sure if he had the d-cut plates or not. I told him what I wanted, gave him a couple of measurements and it came out great. He probably has either a templte or mold of this plate in his shop.
He made a stock ride plate with a D cut.....out of carbon....
He has to be copying blowsion...because ride plates are such a very diverse item that can be made sooo many diffrent way.
People like ride plates with cuts...he amde one out of carbon thats not copying you....thats just doing buisness thate everyone wants. Unless he madea mold of your plate which I dout he needs to(because he's already skilled and innovative) its not copying you.....nothign against you mud. I think highly of you....but comon

fwiw, here are pictures of a brand new Watercraft Factory carbon/kevlar rideplate i received in March of 2006. i took it out of the box and took these pics. i paid $130 for this rideplate.
