My wife teaches preschool and they are having their annual Transportation Day at the end of the month. They contact businesses to bring in different types of vehicles and have them in a huge circle in the parking lot for the kids to tour. It's like a field trip but kids don't have to go anywhere.

Well, I'm taking my ski to be part of it. I'm probably going to have it on a piece of carpet on the pavement so the kids can actually touch it, plus have a laptop playing videos in the tray probably.

I got to see the list of vehicles confirmed and it's pretty cool.
motorcycle
dairy refrigerated truck
firetruck
police car
sewer inspection camera truck
trolley
cherry picker
UPS truck
huge GMC Topkick limo
donut delivery truck
semi
earth scraper
and they are trying to get a helicopter
plus there are quite a few others

Cool---plumbers are represented with the sewer camera. :biggrin:

I did a presentation for my daughter's first grade class on career day and brought one of my trucks to show the kids. They really got a kick out of it.

Thats cool man! You need a 21" monitor running off of yourlaptop though! Have a compilation of 05 freeride finals and some Niagra footage and large high res still shots of Daytona and Jersey hanging all over the place!! You will be the hit of the show over all of those other clunkers.:biggrin:

Thanks guys, it should be fun having a bunch of 2-5 year olds checking it out. I just have to find some good videos that are appropriate to show.

My only problem is getting it filled with water. I'll just have to see if I can get a spot close to the fire truck.

I'm sitting in the parking lot on my trailer with my laptop "borrowing" someone's wireless signal. Cool eh?

I would post some pics but don't have a card reader with me.

Krispy Kreme truck

Neat so far!

get some good shots of that bookmobile... I designed a bunch for the last company I worked for... It prolly is one of them.. Look for a Mobil Tech, AK Specialty Vehicle, or Calumet Coach on it
