Ohio Starter can rebuild em for you. Fairly cheap and a better guarantee than a new one.

i just took this one to a starter rebuild shop here in town and they said it's beyond repair. the inside is all rusted and nasty, and the bearing is locked up. oh well, mile9c1 is hooking me up with one for a good price so i'm happy!

well i'm an idiot. here i am all dissapointed because i cant ride until i get the new starter, and complaining about how i wont ride the sxr...

I started off with 115 pilots and 112.5 mains, and now we're up to 120 pilots and 115 mains. i haven't gotten to run these yet because of my awesome luck, but i'll let you know how it goes.

My sweet spot (very similar setup) was found at 115 pilots, 115g/2.0, 122.5 mains.

lol nope, it's not even on a trailer. it's sitting on one of those foam pad things in my driveway. i have a herniated disc so i can't lift anything, so until i can get someone to put it up on the trailer for me, it's gotta stay there. i tried getting the starter out of it today with no luck, that sucker was stuck good. i'm just gonna wait for mine from mile, hopefully it'll be here for the weekend.

I didn't know kawi and yami starters were the same....I have a pile of them.

yea my doctors keep sayin the same thing, it definately sucks.

technically the starters aren't the same, but i was just gonna switch out the rear part of the superjet starter so that the sxr one would bolt up. i'm still not sure if it'd work or not though.
