Roger that. Any chance we can bring back SFL? I'm sure all can be made well.

Doug

:haha: :haha:

chick , it takes integrity to admit your mistakes and makes things right. If Stoyer was the professional and half the man that he claims to be, then he would do the same . You have put your money where your mouth his ; that's for sure:arms: You have done everything from helping with entry fees, events and even lending your own personal boat to ....:sneaky: others that didn't have one.

I tip my hat off to you....Mr Royal flush :arms: :arms:

You shoulda' rode to Nats with Jeremy and Kevin, ya' big slacker...:Banane09:
I went on a loooooong boat rid instead

25 miles offshore + 1 bad water pump + 1 good motor = a long ride home

it would not have been so bad except for:
1. we bought $400 of gas, bait & ice
2. the pump broke on the way out
3. we didn't even get to our destination
4. all the other boats out there came back in with lots of tuna

at least I got to ride on Sunday

Lets all keep in mind how much Royal Flush does for this sport. I am sure that actions like what were displayed in Nashville by a pro make people like Chic think twice when helping up coming riders the way he does. All I hear is newbies and near pro riders saying "Chic helped me out". As for Juniors in this sport, I made absoluteley sure that my son understood that what he had seen from this PRO RIDER was absoluteley uncalled for and that the day he acted this way would be the day he was done with this and any other sport we may be involved in. By the way my son came to me and said " what is STOYERS DEAL?" and this was before the pro's were even done. He had in the past thought how cool he was. Hopefully Stoyer stays with it and all is forgotten because his abilities and what he does contribute are as evident as his recent actions.

there is another reason Jason ay have been upset. maybe he felt he did not give as good of a show as he could and was med at himself. Myabe he has personal problems we are not aware of. Most people don't just go off. it could be an accumulation of events that are finally just getting to be too much. anybody will crack under enough stress. If he truly is the type of guy that he is said to be, then this is probably not because of feeling he got a raw deal in the judging. Either way, mistakes make good lessons too and I don't hold a grudge against somebody letting off steam. I would hope he comments on here and puts all this useless speculation to rest. I have seen some vids of him and hope this does not follow him, that would be a shame.

doesnt matter............in any pro sport with a display of unsportsmanlike conduct there is a penalty....why should pro-f/s be any different?

whether it be points or $$$.....every action has a consequence

but I agree, noone shold hold a grudge.........there should be a penalty, then get over it and on to the next competition....

No he will not!
Chick, you are a gentleman and a scholar as far as I'm concerned. I can't think of anyone else that helps people in this sport purely for the love of watching more than you :hail:

And since I missed the awards.....I'd like to publicly thank you for helping me out each and every day in Nashville, and for helping get me there too......and for the ride in the SS
