That's actually Tim....WaveDemon's blaster. Both pics are from the Daytona ride this weekend. Unfortunately, I'd be lying if I said I pulled that flip. I've only successfully flipped once. If I hadn't been so impatient, and picked a good wave, I think I would have made it.

Tim's blaster is nothing special in the mods area....just a 61x motor with a head and b-pipe. I don't recall the prop he said he had, but it hooked up very well.

^^^^ I used 2 backflip/and flop my blaster... dam shame I dont hav pics coz I grew up riding alone,early morings 4 alone smooth,huge surf all 2 myself.... Now I know how stupid I was....(I mean crash, wash out,drain restart,push,push, ride,Xplode.... then work on it thru the nite 2 go riding the nexk day...) still have the cracks from the big crashes...

Still impressive^^^^^

lets not get carried away now. just a b pipe and a solas 13/17 prop. I use cheap gas with a stock head.

I grew up near Mavricks. It's located in Half Moon Bay (Northern California). I learned to ride surf right arround the corner. They banned skis there arround 1995. The cops started busting us there in like 96. No chance or ridding there anymore.:bs2:

^^^thats a shame,dam waterPolice.... weve got a break called dungeons out in houtbay(redbull bigwve africa each year) and iv the event isnt on if can get there you can ride there........

I saw that a used blaster hull goes for less than 400usd $$$$..... so I could buy one and leave it there and just bring my engine and go ride every year!?! Thats if im allowed to dissasemble my engine and sit on it as hand luggage on the way over there....

Anybody done this?

you won't get away w/ that here. Just ship the motor before hand.

:haha: A very true statement indeed. Light weight and big HP makes for a very expensive flatwater ride. In surf you need only decent HP and a nice heavy re-enforced stocker SJ hull.
But the salt took its toll on 2 of 3 of my skis this weekend, we ended up riding the boat I assembled the week before the ride like the local slut, EVERYBODY got a ride on her.
