For those of you who have aftermarket hulls what do you have and how has it held up and how hard are you on it

How long would you expect a flatwater lightweight AM hull to hold up?

Depends who is riding it, and what type and how its made for who ?

The answer is that it is not worth the money unless you are getting payed for your riding enough to justify or if it is just outright given too you.

their are quite a few older (2000-2003) eric malone floating around.. so awile if you know how to fiberglass

so, what would a hull hood and pole be worth to you? keep in mind its never touched the water and made to your specs for the most part...

"Needs" and "Wants" are 2 different things... I get what your saying, but people who want things generally get them (if your reasonable and ambitious).

Aftermarket hulls don't have to be redicolously priced. Shop it around, call the right people, choose the right materials for your budget. You will be surprised. I won't drop any names or prices, but don't be so close minded.

If you're an internet shopper with no concept of your needs or "wants" rather; reach out to the builder and work with them. I was super impressed with whom I talked to.

When my riding is at that level I want it to be, I'll be more than happy to pay for a luxery I don't need, but would be nice to have.

With an aftermarket hull you can push yourself more, with confidence. You also don't have to beef up on the power as much (which is always a ncie thing to have a reliable boat) At least thats my view.

85lb hull with a 701 ported, piped, good components on it. Thats me calling it a day. that setup can take you to several tricsk a lot of people throw with more power.

I would say that a am hull will last longer then a big motor, If fixin' is needed it's cheaper to repair a hull then it is to redo a big dollar motor!!!!
