All things equal...

So, new and deciding on a purchase. As the title suggests, if you had the choice to purchase a superjet with a 718 Freestyle ported and 144 12v Mag or a 760 Freestyle ported and stock pump, which would you choose??

All else equal...dual 44's and b pipe and MSD, same pitch props etc etc, and lets say price is equal too for both.

Just looking for thoughts.

Thanks

Do they have Pole, hood, tubbies, tray, etc mods. What kind of riding are you going to do.

I really just wanted to know opinions on the idea of a smaller motor with a mag pump vs a bigger motor without.

Thats kinda why I for S & G's I am saying all else equal (fictitious purchase, although I am looking at ski's all RN Superjets not ready for A/M hulls)

I will be doing mostly flat water, river, wake chasing, freestyle.

If price is equal and parts are equal, which would be the better option??

And yea, these ski's have shortened poles, lowered hoods, foot holds, b pipes, 44's, msd's, steering of one variety or another...but driveline's they are lets say 718 vs 760 one with a mag the other without.

Was the 760 decked and given custom domes?

760 then.

718 with mag if not.

I had a non decked 760 once and could not get rid of it fast enough!

Yeah that's why I was asking about everything else. Usually unless it's been stroked the 760 has higher port timing and stroking it allows you to cheat and correct it. My vote is thd 718

Good to know, I was thinking that a 12V Mag would be the option to choose between the two. But was curious to know if a 760 could make up the difference.
