Hey all, looking for opinions on a product, the engines that Atlantic Jet Sports makes. www.atlanticjetsports.com I've been looking to upgrade my 650 SJ, and noticed that they have 760 engines made by atlantic (they cast the parts and all), for 1,000 dollars, no core required or anything, its brand new. It seems like a hell of a deal. Has anyone used these engines and how do you like them, are they reliable, durable?

BTW, how much more horse does the 760 make, is it a lot more powerful then a 62T/61X 701, and what carbs does it use (guessing dual 44's?) Im looking for the most bottom end I can get.

Lastly, how long do the cheapy brass-looking bendix's last? Need a new one and 190 dollars OEM is steep...

I would go with the OEM shorty too but it is tempting to see whats inside of one of those Chinese motors. I wonder if they could handle FS porting and 180 compression.
