Air Leak

yeah its the oring on the dome.

dome is locked in place on this head so that didn't do it. it must have popped out while going on i guess seems nothing else could have caused that but i had grease on it to tr and help keep it in place
oh well new ones are on the way i hope

When you put O-Rings on, use vaseline to hold them in place. That should prevent that sort of thing from happening.

i used some grease just as that is what i had avail but i guess i didn';t use enough ???????????????????????????::banghead:

Thats dumb... at least you know what it is!!! :arms: I used a little bit of 1211 to hold my orings in place.

oh well hopefully the oring kit shows up before the ride this weekend ( and i hope i get out of work on time and i hope the carbs are tuned by then)

that is a long list of hopes for 3 days of work to day it in
not looking good

any idea of a place that sells the big orings i would need to fix this locally?

0 leak now, motor is back in the hull, some little things like a gas tank and hose clamps then break in time
oh and the continued carb tuning saga of course:bigeyes:
