Air in fuel return line

less work more surf
I have recently fitted Tygon fuel lines to my ski (5 rides old). They are transpearnt yellow so I now can see air bubbles in the return to tank. Is this normal or do I have an air leak somewere? I have noticed a big infrequent hesitation on the last surf ride, Kind of like when the you are low on fuel and change to reserve and the ski is starving for gas. I have also replaced the st-st pick up tubes in the tank to a section of Tygon hose and a clunk. I am wondering if this may be causing the problem by some how jaming in the top of the tank after upside down manuivers???

Any help would be appriciated

I have used that transparent fuel line in the past and hate it. It hardens and turns colow within one riding season. So, I switched back to regular NAPA fuel line.
It is normal for air bubbles to be in your return line when running. I noticed it as well while my ski was running. You may have some other issue going on.

Yeah the air in the return line is normal but you may have other problems if you're getting hesitation. Could be as simple as a clogged fuel filter or pickup. Could also be that the new hose is not seating as well as the old hose and is allowing fuel to leak at the ends. I'd check all that first before you go messing with the carb adjustments.

I can sell you some nice oem fuel line cheap, as can oxnard i am sure. I clean up and save the best from late model yamaha skis that i part out.

Jetskisolutions sell the OEM grey stuff off the role as well.

Is Tygon proper Silicone? - if it is then it should be as good as OEM.
