aftermarket steering thoughts?

getting ready to order an xft steering system. any one running one? anyone know how it compares to the umi? any other systems out there? i know about the blowsion shortened and the WDK and XMW,but they all use the umi right?

yea im wondering the same, im either going xft or xmw but i would like some info as well....the xmw is umi? thats news to me. umi seems pretty trusted. i really like the color and the 3 bar clamp options on the xft though

Im going to get a XFT.
I think they designed the bolt lock system that UMI now uses.
I didn't like the old style UMI since it fails and U have to change the bearing often.

i dont think xmetal runs the umi setup with their turn plate, I think they use the stock bushing style.

xscream has 2 different set ups
1 uses umi system pivot point
1 uses the bushing system

i have 2 x plates on tbm bearings/pivit points works great!
