SXR Aftermarket pole weight

running a AC pole now thinking of switching to an RRP setup and bracket so i can seal up my stock hood and i like the shorter pole. I keep hearing how heavy an RRP pole is. Anyone know how heavy they are compared to an AC? or know what the weight of one is?

Why not just go with the x-metal adjustable pole and steering?

I use a stock Yamaha pole and once you got your length and turn plate set it works great and is light. I wrapped mine in carbon and beefed up the base.

XScream pole is the best option... lighter than RRP, adjustable (AC isn't), beefier than OEM.

Anyone running xmetal bracket on an SXR? Main reason for RRP is I wanna use the tubes for air and seal my hood.

Have you sealed your front hole and cut a 2nd one in the back of your hood yet? This keeps 90% of water out.

SXR141, can you post a couple of pics of the ac pole? i am considering an a/m pole and seems like ac is the easiest to install but everyone says its bulky and not very appealing, but bullet proof. not trying to hijack thread
