Does anybody know who would have done this or the benefits of it? There are no identifying marks on it. They are 46's.

Dan Lamey did a similar thing to this called the Powerbar carburetor. I believe he did this mod to SBN46's and 48's back in the early 2000's. DASA has all the means to recondition them and probably some of the original info on them too as that is or maybe now was Dan's company.
