I have an ADA 5mm stroker motor from a blaster that I picked up to build with my son.
I purchased the ski and motor from the original owner who told me he took the motor apart due to an engine siezure (over a decade ago), lost interest and never put it back together.
The case was safely covered and protected in the ski but the cylinder was left outside. I ran a ball hone through one of the cylinders but the rust is too thick. I am selling it assuming it needs new sleeves which are still available on the ADA website.
The case and crank appear to be in exclent shape. The case is ported, epoxied, and clearanced for the crank and cylinders. It comes with Boysen dual stage reeds, the reed stuffer, and Ocean Pro split manifolds that have all been ported to the match the reed stuffers which appear to be R&D. The head is also in excellent condition as it was also stored inside the ski.
I dont know much about the Factory Pipe ignition other than it has a cable for programing and a connector for what I assume is water injection.
I'm not sure what all this is worth but I would like to get $1,200 + Shipping for the engine and $300 for the ignition. Or make me an offer for whatever you think this stuff is worth.
I can also deliver the engine to ADA Racing (about 20 min from my house) if the buyer would like them to resleeve the cylinder.
