Ada pipe mounting bracket question

Ada sells two brackets. One for girdle and one for std. what is the difference? Bolt clearance? thickness? yes I did call ada Many times. Nobody has answered

I'm ordering one for UMI/GREATER style head from the 2000's

I would guess the difference is in the spacers supplied (between the bracket and head) I don't remember what the greater head looks like but there's a chance you don't need the spacers at all (if the head is entirely flat, like the Riva head) or you need to custom make some spacers (if the head is countersunk at the head bolts).

Greater head was flat..........

Thanks. Yes the girdled head by Ada has thicker spacers.

This is correct. The bracket is the same but the spacers are a different thickness (very small difference) due to the different heights of the 2 ADA head head styles.
