SX/SXi/SXi Pro ADA Head & Factory Dry Pipe

I've been trying to figure it out on my own, but I admit now that I can't.

Do I need to get the girdled ADA head in order for it to work with my factory dry pipe? I've got a 2001 sxi-pro.

nope. you should be able to run a stock head. you could always get it milled for more compression.

You cant use a girdled head with a factory dry pipe i had to find out the hard way.

clearance around the front of the pipe, Now that you mention it I remember seeing pictures of how close the pipe sits in there.

After rereading the first comment about the stock head, I realized that I didn't really state the question appropriately...

If I don't want to stay with the stock Kawasaki head, and I want to go with the regular (non-girdled) head from ADA (for higher compression), can I? Will the Factory Dry pipe attach to the ADA head correctly? That's what I was meaning to ask...

Take a look at Kommander. I was told no clearance issues with any factory pipes.

Yes with a non girdled head you will be fine thats what im runnin on mine
