AC Rick Roy Pole or UMI?

If you could get either for the same price, what would you go with, and why?

And the AC Rick Roy is the regular one, not the cool adjustable dual tube looking doohickey.

My stocker busted again this afternoon, and I think this time it's terminal :crazy:

X-metal, with x-metal bracket.

But I have an AC polished pole for sale. -2" for $325.

The AC is stronger but the UMI looks better IMO so depends whatcha want, I chose the RR AC myself.

I like the XMW as well, but I'm hoping to keep it under $400. and I want to be able to use stock bracket, chinpad, steering...yada yada yada.

I suppose I could make one more mickey mouse repair on my stocker to finish my season, and collect aluminum cans so I can afford one of Pat's poles over the winter.

Would I be able to throw that right on my stock set up, or would I need to invest in brackets and other stuff?

Right now I am stock steering stock bracket, -3 stock pole.

I'm trying to get out of this for a decent price as I picked up a new toy this weekend that needs $$ for Brap.

You can use it on a stock bracket with stock bolt and spring (may take a little bit of finagling).
Stock chinpad, no bueno. Not without modification, anyways.
Not sure about steering.

You could use stock steering, stock bracket, and stock pole bolt. You cannot re-use a stock RN spring though. But you can use a modified square nose spring.

Stock chin pad will not fit without modification, as Matt_E said.

Even if you could, it would look ugly.

It looks pretty good, now if you could throw a coat of Yami Black on that....

You could paint it very easily. Just rough it up, coat of primer, then a couple coats of black. All rattle cans, probably under $15.
