i'm thinking acrylic bar stock attached o the camera leans and then a wide angle mirror at the end of that( pointing back down) explains the black out spot on the top of the helmet and
and the fact the helmet stays still the whole vid.

that cam is sweet.

after watching it again seems to be an acrylic tube with a wide angle mirror slipped over the camera, which is pointing straight up.

the distortion around the edges looks like looking through an acrylic tube.some one fund it and i will build it.
