A few quick squarenose questions

I may have found a cheap 1990 square for the summer. :Banane09::bananapowerslide:

Is the pump/driveshaft/coupling the same as a roundnose? Can I just drop a 701 or 760 straight in, or what wil I need to change? Motor mounts maybe? Would a stock roundnose prop be an improvement over a stock 1990 prop, assuming both in good shape?

No, they both suck equally. I've heard the stock stainless blaster prop is a good upgrade over the SJ's OEM alum paperweights.

The threads on the shaft are smaller than what is on the coupler. A new coupler would just rattle around with no thread engagement. It's probably 3-5mm smaller.

we rode ocala a few weeks back....once was enough for me, it was kinda boring
