not "trooling", all I was doing was commenting about your setup, you're the one that decided to get personal about it. if someone tries to explain to you how to adjust something of fix a problem with your setup, you get all defensive like you think it's a personal attack. I was joking around with you about the banana thing btw.

if you are going to get all defensive about what I said regarding the pipe setup, and how a backfire will blow the sides out of those 440 resonators, then forget I said anything at all. sorry.
I was just telling you my personal experience with it. when I bought my superjet, it had a 440 resonator on it instead of a waterbox. the flywheel key was sheared and when it backfired it blew the side out of the resonator. don't be offended.

ok, that's what happened to you.
you must of put together your ski wrong or had something else go wrong, because this setup work's fine on my 98 750sxi pro jetski.

I think the waterbox on my 750SXi Pro is cracked. Once I get both hoses off of it, what else holds it in place?

you will need to remove the ebox and head pipe to get that waterbox.

Mystery solved. Two actually: why I had an exhaust leak and why the water box was hard to remove.

I dont know but the easyest thing to do is just get ride of he waterbox all together, i got ride of my waterbox and gain a little throttle response and it actually isnt any louder then most aftermarket waterboxes i have had on my other skis, Mine is a 92 sx 750 and they might differ a little from later model sxi's but the earleir 750s all had a built in silencer about 3inchs in from the end of the exhaust outlet in the back, take a look and see if its there, i know i will never put a heavy anouying water box back on my 750

We had a friend who rode a 750Sx with a Coffman pipe and no water box. It was so annoying that we quit calling him when we went to ride.

man, I don't think there's a damned thing wrong with you other than the fact that you get fetched to easily. I used to be the same way, but I learned that its not worth the energy wasted on bs. since I made that change I've been a lot happier and have developed a better sense of humor. I don't let things that people say bother me, especially when it stupid rhetoric that means absolutely nothing. just try being more "passive" to meaningless bs, and people won't view you as mean and crappy. You and Dan need to bury the hatchet with each other, and not in each others' heads. that would be a good place to start, IMO. and I know that crap goes way back before any of these forums, but still. both of you have your own issues with each other, and I'm quite sure it's all based over pointless bs. just saying. :dunno: when you guys get in a thread with each other and start arguing over crap, it paints a really dumb picture of the both of you, and thats why everyone over there thinks you guys are ate up. sure, I don't know Dan as well as you do, but the person I know is a decent guy, and just ate smooth up with skis and his past racing feats. regardless, both of you have been involved in the sport for a long time, and have known each other for a long time. whatever the cause of the crap between you two is isn't as important as being the friends that you once were. :dunno:

so, anyway, again, when people poke fun at you, you need to develop a way to send it back without coming off pissed and cynical. because thats really the only problem that anyone has with you.

hawk, there's a lot more to do with why i was banned over there other than those last p/m' s i sent to all the gorilla lover's.
that's another story line, but i might come to a head at this years world finals.

i wish i could of installed the 440 dual muffler setup and ran the exhaust around the 550 gas tank and down the intake - carb side before i sold that 98 750sxi pro.
i'm sure there would of been a lot my power with that setup instead of the stock exhaust routing to the stock alum 750sxi waterbox's.

well, we were planning on racing in the region 5 final in Dallas, and then going to Havasu, but the ski went to hell before we could make r5. hopefully next year it goes down like it's supposed to. :dunno:
