I like. Very clean...

Which way did you go about installing the round pole on the square... Hook it up with some photos and info... I'm doing the same right now. I already know which route I'm taking, but I like to see other people's write ups

yeah i am out of town right now w/o my ski so I can't take anymore pics right now but let me tell you that it's probably not a good idea to try to use the stock RN bracket due to a few complications. let me know what you are using cuz I would be interested to hear.

Yea I just spent all winter refoaming my square. Now I am jealous I didn't take some time and do what you did it crossed my mind but then reality kicked in and I realized that there is no way I could do that major props to you. Like someone else said probably the best looking square on here. I like the nose cone did you make that yourself or just integrate an aftermarket one to your hull also did you do the slutty hood mod or did you venture to do it your own way?

Let's see here how would I explain the nose... haha. well it has the stock nose piece on there and I foamed underneath it after I filled in the hole where the gas hose inlet is. Then I used hollow glass bubbles mixed w/ a 2:1 marine epoxy to fill in some gaps. Then I laid some thin fiberglass mat over it and glassed it in and re-sanded and added more filler in here and there and re-sanded and so on kind of like I did w/ the tubbies. I think I should have spent a little more time on the nose than I did but I was so sick of sanding and working on it cuz I just wanted to ride the damn thing... I almost went w/ a shabby rattle can paint job but decided w/ all the work I had already done that I should buy some good paint and do it right. The hood is just a stock hood w/ custom handholds that I drew out and cut out and I relocated the stock air intake from the top to the back and filled in some other holes on the stock hood.

what's the black doodads on the gunwhales at the trailing edge of the hood? Are those your pissers?

Yeah those are the pissers, but right now the way I have the hoses lined up I wouldn't call them pissers... haha, more like piddlers cuz there is not much pressure and the water just piddles out of them not like I had hoped but hopefully they will get more pressure if I re-route some of the hoses.

handholds, hood mod, and more.
probably stay with external fuel fill
and I am not into scuppers.
i think they sink boats!:pat:
pet theory; boat goes upside down . .
scupper becomes an air vent and boat goes down quick.:Flush:
redundant pumps and factory siphon works for me.

Thats true....I have seen it happen....once the nose goes down it only takes a minute or so.

Nice looking ski Bobby....now you just need to get that 760!!!

Best looking square I can remember seeing. Well done. Love the gunwhale / nose / hood mods. And no one has mentioned it, but that is a really good turf job. Very clean.

hey thanks, by the way most of the turf was done by Phill and it looks a lot better from a couple feet back but there are a lot of imperfections in it when you look up close but still overall it does look pretty nice. Good job Phill! he actually was pissed off at himself cuz he thought he did a ********ty job but I am pretty happy with it...

I dont think I did very good on that turf....a few mistakes....with that said...I think it looks better than the two other skis I have done...not an easy job!

i just noticed there's another square in the backround...who's is that??

The only other ski i see is an old 550:puke:

air intakes are sick! Hood does look a lil tall with the gunwales cut out but functionality over looks always. Could that hood slide off the ski with only one hood latch which is the ratchet strap and no straps?
