Super Jet (90-07) Blowsion Destroyers installation

I got a set of Blowsion Destroyers that I am trying to install. When I place the Tubbie on the side of the ski, I can see it makes contact on all its surface but I feel it should be a bit forward. The problem is when I do this the tip of the Tubbie detaches from the side of the hull and leaves a small gap. The Tubbies are solid and I don't think they will bend when I tighten the front screw. I am thinking to simply fill that gap with 5200, that should fix it, however I am not still sure if I should do this. If this is not clear I will post a picture of it.

How did you install yours?

You don't want it flush.. I'll get a pic of mine, it rides perfect.

I still had to grind my tubbie a bit to get it to fit nice.

One fell off
They were Tubies II on my RN....and never like them anyways.

They bend a little when bolting then on. You don't want too big of a gap though.

I've ridden them on ski's that are flush (forward) and 1/8" off (back) and I couldn't tell too much of a difference.

However you mount them after 2 rides you will think that you have the best handling ski ever and everyone else is full of sheit!

I have ridden one with them flush and it seemed to walk a little more, but there are a lot more factors than the tubbies I guess.
