800SXR, re-fueling without trailer

Does anyone have an idea or photo of what you use when putting fuel in your machine without putting it back on the trailer. One area where I launch in Canyon Lake [TX] shore is rocky and I don't want to put fuel in while bobbing in the water. I was thinking of a 2x4 padded rail support of some type with wheels. Something to put it on without getting it back on my trailer. A full beach type dolly seems to big to haul around for this situation. thks.

i've carefully pulled it over the rocks and got it as stable as possible
the Sound was really rocky, of course i also has to be on the look out for the drastic tide changes and incoming and outgoing boats....
guess you learn to walk fast in the parking lot

carpets a good idea, I have a 2 ft hose coming out the top of my homemade gas can with a carb on top to allow quick dumps. I usually just have someone hold it steady from the back and dump 2-3 gallons at a time.

I have several of those in stock. My sister is coming up from Austin this weekend, I could probably send one home with her if you want to buy one (and avoid shipping costs). I think they are like $115.

i have one of those new gas cans where you push a lever to pour it and when you let go it locks and stops pouring so i just go in waist deep and pour.

The folding aluminum stand looks like a good option. I ended up buying 3" PVC fittings and 10' of pipe to make one from a previous suggestion to try a beach stand. [not as handy as a folding one]
-Give me some time to see if I like the PVC.
I am hauling my jet skis to Upper Michigan for two weeks and the folding alum. stand could work great there. Thanks,
