Hey guys i'm just really getting into the jet ski world. On my 01 superjet it says 64v. I've heard that its a 760 motor. Is that true or is it a 701?
no, its a 701. my 2001 superjet has a 64v sticker on the case also. but the stampings on the case are 62t, while the cylinder is a 61x. not sure why the 64v sticker, but its just a 701.
just about. 62T cases are dual carb that come with the newer 701 motors. 64x cases are the same thing as 62T cases but they have dual pulse lines for the dual 44 carbs that come stock with 760's. 61X cylinders are 701 cylinders that come on superjet and have the best stock port timing for low end power but must have big bore sleeves installed to put 84mm pistons in to turn into a 760. 62T cylinders are 701 cylinders off waveraider sitdowns. A little higher port timing the exhaust is 2mm higher then the 61x but these stock sleeves can be bored to fit 84mm turing it into a 760. The 64u cylinders are the ones that come on waveraider 760's and are the same port timing and everything as the 62T cylinder but just come with 84mm pistons making it a 760.
So yes you have a 760.
Ya I did that too mine, i was just wonderingis there any difference between 62t and 64 x casings other then the dual pulse?
Munki, you can add the seond pulse line to 62t cases as well
