701 Assembly Question

hey guys, just reassembling my 62t / 760 motor, so far just put new crank seals on and put yamaha bond between the cases and put the cases together and torqued them. now that just the bottom end is assembled i noticed the crank has a little resistance to spin it with my hand? all the bearings are good, only thing i could think of is its the crank seals just tight on the crank so maybe thats it i hope. anyways my question is, is this normal or is something wrong? this is my second motor build i have done and i can't recall if the other was like this. any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hard to tell how much "resistance" you have without actually feeling......

But YES, crank seals will cause a little resistance. As stated, hopefully you greased them?

Did you put grease inside the crankseals before putting them on the crank?
Did case halves go together completely before bolting them? Did you line up all the crank pins?

i forgot to mention that the small pins are pushed in, the bigger one in the center is fine and the other big ones but the smaller pins are pushed in flush when i took it apart, if that is the problem i do have another case i could use for the bottom, and yes i did grease the inside of the seals. and yes the cases went together before bolting it.
and thank you for the replies guys
