650 stock compression

135 in one cylinder, 130 in other with stock head , piston looked ok lost some compression, anybody with any stock compression readings

150 with a good gauge. At least your are in sync.

125 means you need a rebuild. 150 is what it should be, anything over 160 is a mistake in the guage

thanks i think when i overheated this motor i caused some ring and piston damage i am just goin to ride it for a while i guess 125 is the lowest , going to ride it sunday water is really cold up here still i just hope it still makes good power

what you need to do is check another ski with your gauge thats good, and compare the readings to what they should be. Im guessing your absolutely fine, just using a bad gauge, as your cylinder wear is in sync.

If the guage is good and calibrated, then it may be time. Ride it til it goes.
