650 sj seized up *pics*

Last fall/winter i picked up a bone stock '91 650 square nose. test rode is in some damn cold water for like 20 min! ran great so I brought it home. Rode it again the next day in prolly ~45 degree water and 55-60deg air temp, started loosing power so i limped it back to the dock. had real low compression in both cylinders so threw it in the garage. Premixed 50:1 (maybe more like 48 i always go a tad richer lol). What do you guys think happened?

Would there have been anyway of me preventing this from happening other than not ride in in that cold of water lol?

nah , im just guessing.....piston wash looks lean to me at least what is visisble on left .....but perfect time from 701 swap

It's same on both cylinders. Front got it the worst. crank bearings picked up debris on front as well. Originally I was thinking water got in there.
