There is a engine mount that believe people call a "couch mount". Sits center at the bottom of the case. What is it actually called and is there a replacement part for it to run in a standup?

I believe the norm is to just remove it.
Good info thanksYamaha calls it a stopper. Part number for a SJ one is 6BA-44532-00-00
There are different ones for different hulls.

Reuse the bolts, just leave out the rubber bumper.Bolts are pretty long. They don't seal the case in anyway?
Awesome. Thanks.Reuse the bolts, just leave out the rubber bumper.
interesting. okay. so its just dependant on hull and use application. got it.We typically take them out. I find they rub on the hull inside, and actually cause damage. We do know of many that ride Surf though, that do leave them in.
That's pretty intenseAs evidence of why they are removed, here's something I just discovered in a 2017 RN hull. That's about 1/8th inch deep. I figure sand (from surf water ingress) got under the bumper and turned it into a palm sander. Needless to say, I removed the bumper.
