I know the map and rev limiter will be wrong
but wouldnt a MSD enhancer fix that?
or do I need to move my 6m6 flywheel and stator over?

tim, so all I need to upgrade to a 61x 701 setup is cases, cylinder/head, top end and intake exhaust manifold?

yeah, you need to replace the short block.
- the electrics will work
- the carb will work but it is different than the 701 even though they are both sbn 44's.
- the 650 exhaust will bolt on but is smaller internally and will work.
- the crank is the same
- the bottom half of the case is the same too
I have a coffman sizzler chamber. t6he carb I'm running is a taper-bore 46.
so I just need to bore out the inside of the exhaust manifold?
so I can replace top case half, pistons, intake manifold? are the head bolts spacing the same? if so I could just have the head machined to a larger squish and volume?
It would probably cost less to just buy a 701 head.
