550/650 flatdeck

I could get it running easy.. but i have to much cosmetics to Finnish first.... paint the topdeck. paint the hood. clear coat the carbon pole. oh and i have the cut the hood before i paint it and re fiberglass. So by the looks of it its next weekend. Bret you can ride it as soon as its ready .. tell heather happy b day. shouldnt you be out partying right now?

Got the turf almost done.... top deck is painted and installed 2 footstraps(1 mor eto go). Should finnish up this week.

Dumb question, will a flat deck sink due to less foam? I like the flat decks, i just got a free js hull I may flat deck with fixed steering. And of course yami power and 650 pump. It may be a while though.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing when I first saw them. I assume you have to get more buoyancy from somewhere.

Alright found out my starter was bad i just got done installing a new one and everything is in the hull and the motor starts.... Trickling charging the battery today and finnishing up the pole tomorrow. Then installing the pump and possibly a test ride by this weekend. I havent mod'd the hood yet but i want to run it before i do it because im tired of working and not riding. I will post pics of finnished turf engine and footstraps tomorrow.

Alright so the other one has been painted and ready to drop the motor in.. We are waiting for a driveshaft to get here so we can install everything on it. Mine Just needs the hood glassed I cut it so i could show everyone what we did with dropping the pole and cutting it thinner.
