Mine was this way when I purchased the ski so I just left it. My first set of cases posted were 62T cases from a 760 motor so they came that way. I've never tried a T fitting so I'm not sure from personal experience how that would work, but I'm sure others have tried it.Even still. If you can get full threads I'd do it. Swap cases did they ever come from factory with dual pulse fittings. Besides that there just pressed in
