2nd pulse fitting

I need to run a second pulse line and my 62t cases do not have an area to drill for it.

That case has been that way for 6 years with no issues.

Swap cases did they ever come from factory with dual pulse fittings. Besides that there just pressed in

Even still. If you can get full threads I'd do it. Why not just run a "T" fitting in your pulse line to each carb

Mine was this way when I purchased the ski so I just left it. My first set of cases posted were 62T cases from a 760 motor so they came that way. I've never tried a T fitting so I'm not sure from personal experience how that would work, but I'm sure others have tried it.

I got those 62t cases off of ebay a couple of years ago they are new never been used, just missing the extra metal in the casting for a pulse fitting.
I was told not to tee off of one, but I'm no expert..

I just had to do this to a set. I put the second pulse fitting on the side because it was much easier to drill. Just use the correct size drill bit so you have to press in the fitting (I tapped mine in with a hammer) and I used 1211 to seal it. It has worked perfect for me.

It'll be fine. I've drilled two cases for the second fitting, it's not a big deal. Drill it tight and tap it in with your choice of a sealer. I've used delvac metal fill and jb weld, both are holding up no problem.

Yamaha 64x cases (760) came with two pulse fittings to run OEM 44mm carbs.

It is not a big deal to drill the cases to install a second fitting. I have done it with the engine in the ski. I would pull the manifold and use grease and a clean rag to help catch metal shavings. I would suggest to use Marinetex instead of JB Weld, but either would work fine.

I've got a fair amount of NBU 12 and it's really sticky, that and some clean rags and I should be good.

Drilled and tapped holes for extra fittings on both types of 62t cases, with and without the little round spot. Sealed with 1211 and a screw in fitting. No prblems.
