I have them in my squarenose and honestly they are too small for my feet. I wear a size 12 shoe and I have no padding in the hold area and still cant get my feet to lock in there.

The ones I have are also the old style footholds. I believe Mark makes the universals different now, not sure. Might want to call him and see.

Thanks. That is exactly what I was worried about. My son has size 11 feet and he is still growing, plus he likes to ride in big blocky skate shoes. The pics on atlanticjetsports site makes them look smallish even without turf, but I didn't know if that was just a bad pic.

I need something for a big footed kid that are easy to install on a square. Any suggestions?

Like I said, Mark may make them differently now since he is the new owner of 24/7 so they may be bigger and more comfortable now. I have ridden skis with watercraft factory and xft footholds and both of those are very comfortable and lock in nicely. The xft's were my actual favoritesfor my size shoe, but the wcf ones are a very close second.

Here are the holds installed on my ski.

Oh and they were super easy to install

. 24/7 should be coming out with a larger foothold, i wear a size 13 and they were designed around my feet and wrestling shoes, but i have not yet tested them out on the water but will be in trying them out in daytona

I have them in my old square. I wear a size 14 DC skate shoe that i use, the only foot hold i have tried are these and the dawson diggers in my current one so i dont have much to compare to but its not that bad my feet are at more of an angle then the diggers. I can try to get picks up tomorrow with my feet in them.

here are some pics with my size 12's in there.

the first is the universals the second is the roundnose version.

either one should work fine in a square. just need to trim the lip a little on the rn holds

On my square nose I put the 24/7 Milleniums bindings that are made to fit the round nose. I think they are bigger than the 24/7 universal bindings, plus they cut into the side walls a little bit giving you some wider stance too. I wear Asics wrestling shoes size 11-11.5 with minimal turf in there and they fit me fine.

edit: I just looked at the comparison from DemolitionX and the Milleniums do indeed look deeper than the universals.
