Anyone know a good way to extend the exhaust tube? It's like 6 inches too short. Never had to mess with the exhaust tube inside the hull before.image.jpg

I wonder what peace is missing from the exhaust tube? looks like there is a little open cavity in there? Also the side drain seems like a cool idea, a lot easier then vacuuming the water out after every ride, I have never seen that done before though.

I've never seen it done before either. Same with the exhaust tubing, has me baffled, what would be the purpose of that? Would it still work?

You can tell there use to be some kind of flange bolted/glued there, my guess is, they had some sort of inline resonator and decided they needed to keep it.

I was thinking maybe it would be a good time to shorten the hull, but I think 6 inches would be a little much and cause it to ride a little nose high.

Ic I was just curious if maybe the were running no water box and tried running one way valve there to keep water from flowing back through the system when sitting

But wouldn't all off the water just sit in the bottom of the hull there causing it to weigh down and be lopsided in the back. My guess is that there was a resonator that they took out.

Called the previous owner and he said the ski was a -6. Someone lengthened the ski back to stock length. No clue what to do now, but the ski was ran with the cavity for a few years. Anyone think I should hack it back off?

Hack it off it rode nice before it's a shortened 08 style bottom Superjet not a Chris maros ski . Those footholds were made extra big for my feet
Awesome! I was hoping someone would see it that previously owned it. Is this one of your old competition ski's? Thanks for the input!
