Freestyle 2013 TigerCraft Aquabot Build

Thought I’d share my build with you guys on my 2013 Tiger Aquabot. It all started before Daytona Freeride last year when Tony presented the Aquabot to the market. I told my brother I wanted to build a freestyle boat and after seeing it in Daytona and I knew I had to have one. So after we got back I decided in early February to pull the trigger and throw a deposit on one. I decided to do with a Fiberglass hull weighting in around 95 pounds with a drain plug and foamed in the rear. For the type of riding I do, I did not want a scupper valve. I went with a white gel coat with a neon blue and yellow graphics kits with blue turf. I could not be happier with the decision. Tony was easy to get in contact with and was able to send pictures as the progress was happening and answer any of my questions I had along the way. I took delivery in June because of my school schedule conflicting with me getting down to New Jersey. Through the help of the Tony at TigerCraft, Rad Dudes for their awesome parts, Chris Hyslop for doing the things to my ski that I think is pretty cool, ESI Powersports helping me with the exhaust along the way, Thrust Innovations for their fast shipment on parts, My brother (Justin – Evo8Coop) on the forum for putting up with me through the process of not wanting to help out at all, my Best Friend (Matt), Jet Maniac, and Everyone else who contributed in one way or another..,. Have you had it out on the water yet?

Did you have to space your footholds out to fit them? mine need some messing about to get to fit?

When you asked for the ski to be foamed did you mean for floatation or to strengthen the tray? Just wondering if mine will have this foam in.

Cant wait to get out on mine its almost there now!

when we ordered I'm pretty sure we asked for foam since its a surf lay up… we have not ridden it yet been slowly building it… fitment on everything was pretty close to perfect…minus shims for pump but tony told us that going into the build that they we need to be there. we are also running a stock gas tank with internal fill which came out dope. we don't have foot holds in ours yet as we are going to order adjustable ones… but quality wise everything is very nice! we never had any gelcoat problems… or cracks… it was pretty much perfect when we got it...

He doesn't need the strength he's 100 lbs and 4 ft tall.

Justin, you said it correctly, everything I knew going into was already spoken for when tony and I talked over the whole thing. The finish of the hull was great and no complaints, like every other hull out there everything needs a little aligning, so I knew that. We haven't hit the water but hope to soon. I got mine with no footholds so I will be ordering RRP ones, which is fine with me.
