my ski is alive again... the piston seemed to be fine. I got the ring groove cleaned out and cleaned up the skirt with a scotch bright, looks as good as new. got the motor put back together last night and it has good compression (155). Now I just need a good day to put it in the water and test it out. I just pray that it doesn't die in 10 min. again.

what is the handle pole limiting rope?

Guess I need to get started on that list, need all of it but the bilge and even my bilge isn't hooked up. Can't really tell from the page how the limiting strap installs. What about hood straps? Make them or buy them?

Oh ya, put a waterbox on it when chad got those two hulls from x2. Talked to chad earlier and his ski is running again. Hopefully it is more than a 10 minute motor this time. Give me a call sometime so we can get together and ride.

IM working this weekend, and next weekend, after that, I will likely take some 4 day weekends, but the lake is flooded now, and looks like a sea of chocolate milk, that a brush pile exploded in.

okay,... put the ski in the water today and it ran great. and it was still running when I put it on the trailer. Looks like I am good to go.

He forgot to mention it ran pretty well even without him on it. Got to test out my stuntman skills today when I chased it down and jumped on it while it was hauling ass across the lake.

I have got it set now to shut down as soon as you let off the throttle, not sure why it would not circle it has every time in the past, but not yesterday. I should have all the bugs worked out and be ready to go by the time we go to ozark.
