The pole is comparable to a stock , or so it feels i havent weighed them
i would be happy with stock i just wanted to get rid of the no steering issue

What is making you think that single carb can deliver enough fuel to that motor in the high rpm's, let alone the extra needed for the boost?

Is that thing specially modded or what?

Because air flow through a carburator depending on the pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet

There will be less pressure at the outlet compared to the pressure at the inlet
the greater the presure difference the more a given diameter will flow

The reality is if you push a carb to hard it will go rich anyway

The carb will choke for air before it chokes for fuel

There is a guy on PWCToday selling a couple of SXRs, in the pics it looks like he swiss cheesed (cut a $hit load of holes) the handlepole. I think this would work fine. The pole is all alluminum, and should hold up fine. Easy mod to take out some weight. I love the RRP pole, the adjustability is awesome.

well working on the ski some more
Working on the exhaust mounts
Almost there , this is one r&d exhaust that will not fall off like they are known for
Thanks to Dawson for helping me on the bracket

We had made a rave link but after fitting the exhaust it only needed a small tap and the std caps went under
Awesome

Well the exhaust is pretty much finished now and looking great
Thanks to brad and bobby for there help in getting this finished
Since the stroker engine sits higher the exhaust required modification and i also added some substantial brackets to stop the pipe coming apart as R&D pipes are known for

wax- i had nothing but trouble with my r&d falling apart- we built a mount similar to yours but using the stock pipe mount position farther forward with 2 lord mounts and also we went to a semi truck shop and bought peterbuilt turbo coupler and hose clamps to use in place of the r&d stuff-- you could swing the whole boat around by the pipe with a crane and it would not move-- worked great until the chamber started splitting on the welds-- probably because it was mounted too ridged--GOD DAMMIT-- oh well-- good luck with your awesome build.
