now i am torn between that and an offshore race in ft lauderdale the same weeekend.....

either way i know where first or second place prize is going already :loser:

I don't own a sea-poo. I ride Kawi. Anyway there are plenty gas stations around Manhattan harbor. The one we would be using is in jersey city. Which is right across lower manhattan. It usually takes 45 mins to round the island (not racing). The island is only 30 miles from start to finish. I can make it on my ultra with a tank full and have a quarter tank left. And my ski is pretty small.

Lena, sorry, I'm not making it... With all those babies and work, I was happy to sleep from like 6am till like 12pm and then had to spend a few hours with a bunch of visitors on Sunday when i was planning to pull the pump off the R-12X to find out what's wrong with it. I physically can't make it unless a Pump Fairy visits me sometime before the weekend. This sucks big time, and I'm pretty sure that I simply have a swollen pump or something stupid like that.
I'm kicking myself in the nuts while typing this and feeding one of the babies (my shift now, duh).
F@#$, there's always next time, right? :smashfreakB:

Wow...that suk's...The pump part, not the baby part...lol. So what's the issue with the pump? You need an entire new one?

No worries....We have tons of events planned this year.

I did not pull it out yet, but from the outside it looks like it's swollen, the impeller hits the liner in one spot. The liner is not replaceable, so the housing needs to be changed (about $170 part), but I need to take the pump off to closely inspect and confirm that that's (the only) problem. :toothache:

So what are you waiting for? Problem seems simple enough to fix.
