Super Jet 2007 SJ. Help dailing in my carb.

The mods: 2007 superjet. True dual cooling. Factory B-pipe. ADA head 35mm. MSD enhancer. Ported intake. 135 main jet. 75 pilot. 95g spring. High speed screws out 1.25 turns. Low speed out 1.5 turns.

It runs. But about 80% of the time when you hammer the throttle it doesn’t take off. It doesn’t do anything. But 20% of the time it will launch without hesitation. Also I noticed when I fall off, it seems to continue to rev for a few seconds (but it is not just a high idle). Also when you quickly let off the throttle it seems to continue to rev.

Talked to Wammer and he said I need to upgrade the OEM spark plugs to NGK B8ES. But I won’t be able to try that out till Friday. I will try the new plugs and let you know. But in the meantime I was just wondering what you guys thought. Thanks!

Same issues with mine just dropped it off yesterday. A couple of guys think it is the manifold to motor exhaust gasket leaking water. I am not sure, sounded like and exhaust leak with the hood off but all couplers are nice and tight lined up. I WILL know whats up within the next day or two from the shop.

okay thanks. Mine has all brand new gaskets and sounds perfect with the hood off. But still interested in what you find out.

Wamilton was right. Just switch the plugs and it ran fine! I do have some oil running out of the exhaust after riding. Should i adjust my hi and low speed screws any? Or just leave it alone? Currently: High- are out 1.25 turns and Low- out 1.5 turns. thanks
