20 ft waves in UP

I wish it was summer. Lake superior is getting 20ft waves with the storm tonight along with 6 inches of snow I am sure there will be some die hard surfers out tomorrow.

Anyone ever ride superior?

I hear it nevers gets above drysuit weather there. I wouldn't mind a wetsuit in some 50-55 water temps if the conditions were right. I would love to see pics/videos of that storm. Better yet, lets see some jet skiers out there!:bananalama:

SE side in the hood. I buy forclosers and live in them for two years so I dont have to pay capital gain. I have had houses all over GR. a couple in NE less than a mile from down town, SE and NW. I know right were you were at. I love GR during the spring, summer and fall but cant stand it during the winter.

I am looking to go riding when the temp hits 50 and its not raining. The only problem is that I can only ride on the Grand River because everything is still frozen. I will post when I go out to see if I can get couple people to go with me. hopefull in the next week or two.

I dont. I am about 8 hrs a way but I have a budy that goes to MI tech and he just call me to tell me about the storm. I would think you could find something on the web.

I dont know for sure but I would think so. Last week there was still 12inches of ice on some of the sm lakes but melting quick. We had a hell of a winter. 107 inches of snow. normally only 76.
