i did two holes. But wammer or blowsion sells a thru hull rated at 1100gph..just fyi.. that would be ur single hole easy solution.

i have that one in my fx...it dosnt get the last inch or so out...it works great till there is about a inch and a half left, then it just sputters...dual 500s is where its at

i was refering to the 1100gph thru hull fitting, not the pumps. But yes, dual 500s FTW :arms:

If you do just one hole then you need to put a one way valve in each hose before the 't' or if you have a bilge fail you will just be pumping water back into your hull. . .

The other day I was toying with the idea of 'T'-ing two pumps together to a 1.25 or so pipe then runing that through the bulkhead, through the gunwale and out the back of the gunwale...

Instead of typing this thread, you probably could have been done installing a 2nd bilge by now. Just run the same pump/hose/outlet out the other side of the ski and be done with it!

i was running a single 500, now i switched to a rule 1100 and a rule 360 its a good combo the 1100 gets it out quick but leaves a little left in the bottom and the 360 takes care of that.

Exactly! I don't see what the big deal is. I actually like having two outlets - more symmetric. Looks kind of cool when you're shooting water out either side :cool2:
