1st westcoast ride !!! PISMO Aug 4th-6th !!!

Water was warm last weekend. I rode with no suit on Saturday.

The water temperture dosen't really bother me as long as the weather is nice. Lets hope for some sun, waves, and no wind.

I don't think I'm gonna have the time or money to build my beach tote for the pismo trip. So who all is bring one? Enzo? Butch?

Enzo is your buddy with the two black SJ's going?

You can get by with no tote at Pismo. Just back up and dump your ski as close as possible and wait for a wave to wash up.
When your done riding pin it and you can ride 20' up on to the beach.
Pismo has very fine sand and is very flat.

Do not know if BC is in yet.

what size will the waves be? (around)

Waves have averaged around 4' lately with the occasional 6-7' sets rolling in. 3' is the smallest I have seen it in the last couple years.

Yeah I've been checking the report last couple of days, its been 3-4 feet. It will be nice to hit some waves, the swell has been so crappy the last couple weeks where I ride.

Find us a good spot !!

Between mile marker 2 and 3. That way people can camp right behind where we will be riding. I normally ride 3 miles north of there at Grand ave. No camping there however.
